I can't stop myself from eating a huge burger and cheesy fries every other
night. It's totally ruining my productive workouts. What the hell should i
do?

Become a powerlifter so you can eat that every night.

An old nutrition professor of mine advocated a "cheat day" in which one
eats whatever the hell they want one day out of a period of days. For
example, eat what you want on Sunday.

Or you could try methamphetamines, I lost a lot of weight with those (6'
110lbs). Probably not the healthiest method (-:

Your post is making me hungry...

While applauding your continuing efforts to improve your English
language skills, it is apparent that while you have recently learned
that ending a sentence with a preposition is infra dig, you have not
understood that to do so slavishly is clumsy and reveals a poor
understanding of the situation.

It would have been far less contrived and obviously gauche if you had
perhaps said:

Where do you get the "buirger[sic]/fries?

or:

Who supplies the "buirger[sic]/fries?

while:

Where do you get the "buirger[sic]/fries from? is also perfectly
correct - and a great deal less pretentious, as the slavish rule is
not always necessary and is often misleading.

HTH! ;o)

Good thinking.

Consider me an online therapist. Tell me your problems.

I helped many, many people... with their problems.

If you seriously have a problem controlling your appetite you could try
over-eaters anonymous. Sometimes I go to their meetings and just observe. I
just sit back, listen to the discussion, and enjoy my Big Mac and fries.

At the risk of sounding flip, how about working out harder?

I workout for four to five hours on Sundays (see my post "What I've
Been Up To") and I seem to burn the equivalent of a BK Quad Stacker
(62g protein, 1K calories), BK Fish Whaler (24g protein, 600+
calories), BK Original Chicken Sandwich (24g protein, 600+ calories),
and medium fries (4g protein, 300+ calories)! But I don't eat every
other night; more like twice a week at most (I try not to starve
myself, so I will have "binge days" where for just one meal I eat a
"real" meal, like what I'm used to, and then have rather light ones or
even skip one meal altogether, depending).

Or get some soy burgers and make your own cheesy fries out of some
organic foods store fare. Also, don't forget the diet foods menu in
your frozen TV dinner section of the supermarket. I particularly like
the Lean Cuisine (especially their Asian flavors) and Healthy Choice
entr=E9es. They taste great and you can definitely protein and calorie-
count. Portions aren't Hungry Man sizes, but you get used to them.

One thing I've realized is that my appetites are easier to control
when I work out and when I exercise that initial restraint, however
much willpower that requires at first. Since we're creatures of
habit, once you get into the flow of *not* eating so much, you start
to almost automatically forego the real fattening stuff...exercising
helps. I've noticed that hunger signals are like only half a second
when I'm working out -- even when I'm at rest in-between sets, huffing
and puffing and stretching out the hunger just says "hi" very meekly
and then simply disappears for the next two hours or so

Oh, yeah, and don't forget: aerobics. Jogging or the ellipticals.

Move to the South Pole.

It won't be night there again for *weeks*.

I am sure there must be some underlying factor to your compulsion. I
occasionally get cravings for greasy foods with no nutritional value.
I think they are in line with constipation, stress, or lack of sleep.
Are you getting enough fiber in your diet? Are you trying to starve
yourself and then feel the need to binge?
