As with any other kind of lifting program, you start with a weight and
an intensity that makes sense for you

DragonDoor KBs come in 9, 13, 18, 26, 35, 44, 53, 62, 70, 88, and 106
pound sizes.

MaxKettlebells come in 35, 50, 65, 80, 95, 115, 130, and 145 pound
sizes.

There are other companies as well.

As with the different weights, there are beginning, intermediate, and
advanced workout routines.

My point is that one does not have to be a highly conditioned strength
athlete or someone with great cardiovascular fitness to start using
KBs. One does not have to have the cardio fitness of an average
jogger to start using KBs. You can train with KBs as long as you
don't have a specific medical condition or physical infirmity for
which KB training or weightlifting is contraindicated.
